Your Essential Checklist: Preparing Your Home for a Sparkling Soft Wash
You’ve scheduled your home’s soft wash, and soon your exterior surfaces will be free of grime, algae, and mildew, looking fresh and vibrant again. We’re excited to deliver exceptional results, and to ensure a smooth, efficient, and safe service, we ask for your kind cooperation with a few simple preparation steps.
By taking a little time before our team arrives, you help us work more effectively, protect your property, and achieve the best possible clean. Here’s your go-to checklist:
Before We Arrive: Your Pre-Soft Wash Checklist
We suggest that you turn on your irrigation system prior to our arrive to help protect scrubs.
1. Clear the Way & Secure Your Surroundings:
- Move Vehicles: Please clear your driveway, garage access, and any areas immediately surrounding your home of all vehicles. This allows our team unimpeded access to all areas needing treatment and protects your vehicles from overspray.
- Remove Furniture & Décor: Relocate patio furniture, potted plants, doormats, garden ornaments, flags, kids toys, animal belongings and any other decorative items from patios, lanai, decks, porches, and around the perimeter of your home.
- Secure Loose Items: Store away any loose items that could be inadvertently moved or damaged by water pressure or cleaning solutions, such as garden hoses, children’s toys, and sports equipment.
- Close & Lock All Windows and Doors: Double-check that all windows and doors (including pet doors) are securely closed and latched. This ensures no water or cleaning solution inadvertently enters your home.
2. Protect Your Valuables & Landscaping:
- Contain Pets & Children: For their safety and to prevent accidental escapes, please ensure all pets are secured indoors or off-site for the duration of our visit. Similarly, keep children safely inside and away from the work area.
- Remove Delicate Items: wall art/decorations, potted plants, furniture, toys, throw rugs and any other items that could be damaged during the cleaning process.
- HAVE AN OUTDOOR TV? TV(s) should be removed or covered water tight prior to our arrival, we are not responsible for damage to outdoor TV(s).
- Identify & Protect Sensitive Plants: While our soft wash solutions are plant-safe when applied correctly and rinsed thoroughly, if you have any particularly delicate or rare plants, flowers, or young shrubs directly adjacent to the areas being cleaned, please let us know. We often pre-wet surroundings and perform thorough post-rinsing, but your awareness helps us take extra care.
3. Ensure Seamless Access & Utilities:
- Unlock Gates: If the areas we need to access are behind a locked gate (e.g., backyard, pool area), please ensure it is unlocked or provide us with access instructions beforehand.
- Provide Access to Water Spigots: We will need access to your exterior water spigots. Please ensure they are turned on and easily accessible. Remove any garden hoses attached to the spigot(s) making it ready for us to attach our water hose. The common issue we come across is the homeowners hose metal gets bonded to the spigot and we can not access water. We bring our own hoses and equipment, but rely on your water source.
4. Communicate & Relax:
- Point Out Specific Concerns: If you have any particular areas of concern, stubborn stains, or specific instructions, please communicate them to our team leader upon arrival. This is your opportunity to highlight anything you think we should be aware of.
- Trust the Process: Once you’ve completed your checklist, you can relax! Our experienced technicians will handle the rest, using professional-grade equipment and eco-friendly solutions to safely and effectively clean your home.

Standard Terms and Conditions
1) Legally Binding Agreement: By signing a contract with Exact Pressure, LLC , you are signing a legally binding contract for work to be completed at an agreed-upon price. In the event that you break this contract, all deposits made to the company shall be surrendered as damages.
2) Product Warranties: All warranties are limited to those offered by the manufacturers of the products used. Exact Pressure, LLC makes no additional warranties. If you ever have a concern regarding our work, Exact Pressure, LLC should be notified immediately.
3) Water Usage: By signing this agreement, you agree to provide Exact Pressure, LLC the right to use an on-site water supply as needed to complete the stated project without compensation. If an exterior water supply is required, it will be at an additional charge. It is the customer’s responsibility to make sure the water supply is on and in working order before we arrive. Additional charges will be applied if water is not available.
4) Electrical Usage: By signing this agreement, you agree to provide Exact Pressure, LLC the right to use an on-site source of electricity as needed to complete the stated project without compensation. If an exterior source is required it will be at an additional charge.
5) Color and Tone Concerns: The properties and species of wood age and weather can greatly affect the resulting color or tone of the stain. Note: Variances may occur on individual boards as well as the total project, as densities and other characteristics vary across and throughout the wood. Exact Pressure, LLC and its associates attempt to represent the natural finish color and tones as best as possible. While we can often give you an idea of the overall color or tone you must expect some variance in the overall finish.
6) Courtesy: While Exact Pressure, LLC is on location and performing work on your property, you are responsible for keeping all children and pets, as well as other individuals away from the work area. Children and pets must be kept off the work surface for at least 24 hours after our work is completed. This is for your safety as well as our own.
7) Payments: Payments to Exact Pressure, LLC For exterior cleaning services are due paid in full at time of completion, paver sealing jobs require a 50% deposit at time of starting and 50% balance at the time of completion of sealing and are to be paid by Zelle, cash or Credit Card Through Venmo – If you choose to pay by credit card there is a 3% Transaction Fee added to the payment. All balances are ALWAYS due upon completion of the job. Any variance to this policy must be agreed upon and in writing on our contract. Late charges will be immediately assessed at $50.00 per day on all balances not paid in accordance with contract terms. The customer agrees to pay any collection cost incurred by Exact Pressure, LLC related to the collection process of outstanding balances. A property lien placed on your home for any unpaid balances, legal fees and late fees. Lastly a complaint will be filed with the local Sheriffs office for theft of service which may result in arrest.
8) Scheduling: Scheduling in a business which productivity relies upon the weather can be difficult. Inclement weather may affect scheduling. We try our best to keep scheduling conflicts to a minimum, however, circumstances that are beyond our control may affect your project start and completion dates. You will be notified of any changes as soon as we need to reschedule.
9) Removal & Replacement of Deck Contents: Removal and replacement of grills, deck furniture, planters, and any other items are the responsibility of the homeowner. Should we need to remove items from the deck, we will not be responsible for any damage, breakage or for storage issues. An additional charge may be applied for the time and labor devoted to the removal of these items.
10) Damages: Exact Pressure, LLC is not responsible for damages due to improperly installed siding, loose shingles or siding, broken or opened windows, improperly sealed windows and doors, wood rot, defective construction, improperly secured wires, loose or improperly installed gutters, and leaders and improper caulking. In every aluminum siding case and in some cases with vinyl siding, the sun and weather will bleach the color or cause fading. Exact Pressure, LLC will not be responsible for such conditions. Exact Pressure, LLC will not be responsible for loose mortar that may dislodge during the cleaning process.
11) Stains: Some stains cannot be removed by soft washing and or power washing. Tree sap, artillery fungus, splatters from stains and paints are examples of materials that cannot be removed by conventional means. We make every attempt to point these areas out to the customer when quoting the project. Sometimes these stains cannot be removed at all.
12) Black Stripes / Tiger Stripes On my gutters or facia: The black streaks are a result of oxidation, a chemical reaction between the aluminum in your gutters and runoff from your roof, especially asphalt shingles. While these stripes may get lighter they typically do not come off without being hand brushed with a specialized cleaning solution for the remove of what is called “TIGER STRIPES” This is an additional fee above and beyond the cost of house washing for the Restoration Service.
13) Watertight: Exact Pressure, LLC Services expects your property to be in good repair and weathertight. This includes, but is not limited to all electrical services including receptacles and light fixtures. Doors and windows shall also be weathertight. Exact Pressure, LLC Services is not responsible for damages as a result of water in infiltration from poor or improper installation, maintenance, or repair of electrical related items or doors or windows. Exact Pressure, LLC cannot guarantee removal of artillery fungus from exterior house surfaces.
14) Window Spotting: Windows may become water spotted as a result of our services. Window cleaning is NOT included.
15) Concrete: The appearance of concrete depends on a number of factors most linked to when the concrete was initially poured and cured. When concrete with dirt, mold, mildew, algae and other pollutants and stains is cleaned, the concrete will then reveal any and all imperfections that the pollutants and stains have covered up. The customer understands that not all concrete will look the same even on the same driveway, patio, sidewalk, or concrete slab
